Dale and Bumgardner payroll. Adolph Nordquist worked as a laborer on grading the Capitol grounds. He was born in Norway in 1887 and had lived in Minnesota less than a year in 1905. Fellow Norwegian Capitol worker Thomas Thompson lived at this address from 1899 to 1903.

John Solberg

Occupation: 

Dale and Bumgardner Payroll. John Solberg was born in Norway in 1847 and came to America with his wife and three sons in 1888. He worked as a laborer on the grading of the Capitol grounds.

Ingvald Rossebo

Occupation: 

1902 Beam painting payroll. Ingvald Rossebo was born in Norway in 1872 and emigrated in 1894. He married in St. Paul and his first son was born here before he headed west, eventually settling in Idaho where he died in 1949.

Albert Anderson

Occupation: 

1904 Payroll and City Directory. Albert Anderson was born in Norway in 1878 and came to St. Paul in 1902. He joined Carpenters Local 87 on April 26, 1904, probably when he got hired on at the Capitol. He and his wife raised a large family at this address.

Andrew T. Anderson

Occupation: 

1901 City Directory. Andrew Anderson was born in Norway in 1863 and came to America in 1868. In 1900 he was living at this address with his wife, Josephine and new son Leonard.
