1905 Payroll and City Directory. Victor Carlson, born in Sweden in about 1883 and emigrated in about 1900, worked as a laborer on the Capitol although he lists his occupation as "plasterer" in the 1905 census.

He was born in Denmark in 1871 and emigrated in 1895. He and his wife, Ester, also Danish, raised their family in St. Paul while Frank worked as a carpenter.
