Occupation:

Butler Bros. Payroll of Nov. 3, 1905. William Landroches (1876-1943), although he is listed in the payroll as a laborer, gave his occupation as teamster in the 1905 City Directory. He was born in Minnesota of French-Canadian parents and lived most of his life in St. Paul. He had several professions over time and when he was a St. Paul policeman in 1918 he served as a delegate from the union to the Trades and Labor Assembly. He and his wife, Lucy, raised a family of 5 daughters here and we believe some descendants still live in the area.
